
Climbing Essay Contest 2010
We invite all young climbers to compose an essay about a climbing-related
experience. The goal of this contest is to promote the love of the outdoors,
excitement for sport and a feeling a community among young climbers.
Possible topics may include climbing indoors or outdoors, traditional, sport,
bouldering, alpinism, camp, competitions and your first impression when
you were just starting out. We encourage you to let us in on what was going
through your head at the moment of your climbing experience.
Prizes:
First Place: BLACK DIAMOND QuickWire Quickdraws, 6-Pack
Second Place: Pull Up Board
Thrid Place: "Sick" climbing movie by Tailor DeLench about New England climbers

Must be at least one page in length and around 4
pages as the suggested maximum.

Submission dates are between July 1st and September 30th, so you have the whole summer to take part in adventures you can later write about!

All ages can participate but anyone aged 18 or
older is not eligible for prizes.
