The Climbing Essay Contest is Back!

We invite all young climbers to compose an essay about a climbingrelated
experience. The goal of this contest is to promote the love of the outdoors,
excitement for sport and a feeling a community among young climbers.
Possible topics may include climbing indoors or outdoors, traditional, sport,
bouldering, alpinism, camp, competitions and your first impression when
you were just starting out. We encourage you to let us in on what was going
through your head at the moment of your climbing experience.
Prizes:
First place $100
Second place $75
Third place $50
Details:

Must be at least one page in length and around 4
pages as the suggested maximum.

Submission dates are between May 1st and May 31st.

All ages can participate but anyone aged 18 or
older is not eligible for prizes.

All submissions will be published online.
